A Peer2Peer Revolution

Peer2Peer has developed the structure needed to make peer tutoring a predictable, measurable and dynamic support to student learning.

Our model is based on a number of well-supported premises, including the following:

  • Children are able to serve as effective instructors for peers and younger children;
  • Peer tutoring results in numerous academic and non-academic benefits for both tutor and tutee;
  • Meaningful work is an important component in adolescent development;
  • Given increasing class size, decreasing school budgets, and escalating time pressure on families, children often need more academic support than can be provided in school or by family members.
