The 2012 Focus on Youth program provides quality summer program opportunities for children and youth in our neighbourhoods by offering free school space to local community agencies. This summer, Focus on Youth offers school space from July 3 to August 17. Community agencies can apply through an on-line application form by clicking on the buttons below. Priority will be given to agencies who are best able to sustain an effective summer program and to those who offer free summer programs.
Requirements

Focus on Youth offers a summer student placement program. Student counselors are placed within a community program for the summer and paid by the TDSB. For many of our students this is their first job and an opportunity to gain valuable work experience. Our student counselors on placement are learning how to become responsible employees; this requires on-site supervision and support.
