Student Hatred Towards My Son Not Celebrating Xmas

To my shock and disbelief, another student told my son HE WAS GOING TO HELL FOR NOT CELEBRATING XMAS!

Israelite parents beware and have a plan of attack in the event your child is faced with such bigotry during the pagan holiday season.

Here is what I did:

  1. Immediately contacted my son's teacher and school principal to file a complaint and confirm the offending student was appopriately disciplined for her actions
  2. Requested documentation from the school regarding the incident
  3. Requested that my son be able to make a presentation on his Israelite Culture to his class in an effort to improve tolerance and promote diversity within the school.
I am happy to report that the school has so far verbally agreed to comply with my requests and were happy to allow my son the opportunity to discuss his Israelite Culture. The only contingency is that my son cannot state any prophecies in his presentation (LOL - this I found to be quite ironic and humorous)

Pleas share your experiences concerning this topic. I am open to any feedback or suggestions.

  2. I applaud you for teaching your children to have pride in their culture inspite of what popular culture and their peers may say. It is not easy being "the only one" and it takes strength of character to stand firm in who you are (Especially for children). But I must also applaud you for showing your children that you "got their back" when they experience ridicule for taking such a stance. You handled it superbly by addressing it head on, and taking it straight to the top. And look how it turned out...You transformed a negative situation into a teaching opportunity. Now THAT'S Israelite PRIDE!

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:11-12

  5. Fabulous job Donna!!! I'm so proud of Levi's strength, obedience, commitment & love for our God & Israelite culture. Wow, can you imagine how mighty all the children of slavery would be if we knew & walked in the fullness of our true identity & responsibility. Thanks Levi for showing us the way.❤☺
