Question from one of our readers

Dear Israelite PRIDE,

The winter break is here and I'm looking for educational websites for my children to use. Can you recommend any useful sites?

Thanks,
A concerned mom

  1. Dear concerned mom, I am a mother of 5 ranging from 10 to 18 so I can relate to your question. Here are a few sites I have found helpful over the years. I would also suggest that you consider getting a yearly membership pass to your local science centre, museum and art gallery. The prices are not as expensive as you might think. Peace

  2. Dear Concerned Mom,

Israelsgyrl provided some really good websites. In addition to Israelsgyrl's list, our family likes www.gifted-spirit.com/free_websites_for_home_use. This page provides fun, interactive websites in math, grammar, literature, as well as math drills. They breakdown each subject by grade level as well. My children like the different sites cause they are very fun and colorful.
